What is FIRST ?

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in 1989 to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology. This not-for-profit public charity designs accessible, innovative programs that motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math, while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills.

We are a FIRST Robotics Competition team: The Spikes #2212 from Atid High School of Sciences in Lod, Israel.

As a part of the FIRST Robotics Competition project, we design, build and program a robot capable of completing tasks according to the annual challenge. Moreover, we work around the clock to inspire our community to engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) through a variety of community projects.
